SAP Data Space

For the official opening of the new Data Space by SAP in Berlin, Pfadfinderei was commissio ned to create an art piece reflecting the concepts of Big Data and Data Visualisation. A team of designers created a 3D world of intricate slides in a graphical way. Marbles will flow and move along those slides representing information being processed and analysed.My tasks was to create an interactive version of the design in a NEC 65 inch touch display. Since most of the 3D were already created in Cinema4D, I chose Unity to add interactivity through physics and magnetic forces. An UI was added and rendered on top to both control the installation and also to visualise some of the aspects of the interactivity itself.
