Pfadfinderei was commissioned to create a permanent video mapping installation for the new Netflix building in east Hollywood. After different launch events in Berlin, Madrid, Milan, Lisboa, Sydney, Paris and Seoul, the ‘device wall’ piece that Pfadfinderei was part of the identity of Netflix. For the permanent version I created a high performance C++ video player that will play 2x 4K videos out of a Mac Pro. The app has an online scheduler, so that the content could be changed anytime from anywhere in the world. Watch the video
