Ali M. Demirel was asked by La Boite – Event Design to design the stage for Tasaki Japan’s 40th birthday event in Tokyo on May 2014. Demirel designed an architectural installation which required a custom mapping and 3D modeling for visual design and performance.
My task was to create a custom FX and visual programming for this specific installation. That way, the design process and performance was handled by using 2V-P. I developed a 3d visualiser where Demirel could rehearse prior to be on location. Under Ali’s creative direction I created some GLSL shaders to be played on the light installation.
